Boone County Public Library selected Omni Architects to design a new branch library in Walton, Ky. The building and campus will serve many purposes, including housing staff and materials; working as a modern and flexible space for all patrons equally; serving as a permanent advertisement for library services; representing BCPL’s commitment to be a technological leader in Boone County; and, serving as a place of experience, discovery, and fulfillment to all who enter.
The Walton Branch will feature separate areas for adults, children, and teens, multiple seating areas, offices for staff, a family activity center, a maker space, public meeting spaces, an internet cafe, and a computer zone, Construction is anticipated to be complete in Spring, 2024.
