The renovation of the Albright Health Center on NKU's campus accommodates facilities for the UK College of Medicine's Northern Kentucky campus - a fully functioning four-year campus, utilizing the exact same curriculum and assessments as UK’s Lexington campus. The space facilitates small group teaching and provides simulation/standardized patient experiences with the ability to deliver lectures on-site from Lexington utilizing educational technology. Spaces include exam rooms, labs, conference rooms, a student lounge, easily reconfigured classrooms, and administrative offices.
Omni Architects previously renovated a portion of the building as part of the NKU Campus Recreation Center, which was designed as an addition to the Albright Health Center.
