Omni announces elevations
Amy Arnold has been promoted to Senior Associate and Director of Finance & Operations. Amy attended the University of Kentucky, Centre College, and Midway College and joined Omni Architects in 2017 after serving in similar roles with large national corporations. Amy leads the firm's human resource initiatives and has been integral in initiating policies that continue to make Omni Architects a destination firm for architectural graduates and licensed professionals. She is a member of the Bluegrass Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and is a member and Treasurer of the Construction Financial Management Association.
Deborah Cutts, Assoc. AIA, has been named a Principal. Deb is Omni's Marketing & Business Development Director, joining the firm in 2012 after working with local and national architectural firms. As a member of Omni's leadership team, Deb has been instrumental in strategizing and implementing the firm's marketing, business development, and communications activities, promoting Omni's broad spectrum of capabilities and services. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and earned certification as a Professional Services Marketer in 2001. Her career in the A/E/C industry has given her broad knowledge of the design and construction process, which helps her better respond to the unique goals and needs of each client.
Chad Gallas, AIA, has become a Partner and Principal. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Design, School of Architecture, Chad has led a broad spectrum of Omni Architects’ projects since joining the firm in 2011, specializing in higher education and workforce training facilities. He focuses on delivering functional, sustainable environments that facilitate the clients' organizational mission. Chad is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky and taught an upper-level Digital Media Course at the University of Kentucky College of Design. He served as a 2017 board member for the AIA East Kentucky Chapter and as a mentor in the AIAS Professional Mentorship Program. Chad's recent design projects include the JCTC Advanced Manufacturing & Information Technology Center in Louisville, Kentucky, the Olin Hall Renovation at Centre College, and the Computing, Media, and Information Technology (CMIT) Building at Berea College.
Teddi Hibberd, AIA, has become a shareholder. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Design School of Architecture, Teddi came to Omni Architects in 2015 and is an Associate and member of the firm's leadership team. With a passion for cultivating relationships beyond the design community, Teddi demonstrates her commitment to serving those around her through her daily interactions with clients and colleagues and through her work with local non-profit agencies such as the United Way of the Bluegrass and the Plantory. Teddi is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Lexington, a 2015 graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky, and a member of the 2015 Fayette Alliance Citizens Planning Academy Class. She currently serves as President-elect of the AIA East Kentucky chapter and is a member of the board of directors of AIA Kentucky. Teddi's current professional endeavors include the University of Kentucky Chemistry-Physics Building Renovation, The Den at the BCTC Newtown Campus, the UK Gatton Student Center, and the renovation of the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging.
Mark Manczyk, AIA, has become a shareholder. Mark joined Omni Architects in 2016 and brought with him skills in generating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and creating visualization tools that help clients better understand the potential for their projects. Mark is an Associate at Omni and has worked on significant projects such as the recently completed new Bullitt County Central Library in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and the new Boone County Public Library in Walton, Kentucky, currently in the design phase. A 2015 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Design School of Architecture, Mark's ability to detect potential issues and coordinate solutions before they become problems has been a valuable asset to Omni’s project teams and clients. Mark is a graduate of the Leadership Lexington Class of 2020 and participates in industry/community initiatives such as CANstruction, PARK(ing) Day, and as an AIA mentor in the UK AIAS Mentorship by Design program.
