The Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson Cancer Facility for Women focuses on women’s cancer and cancer related illness and provides compassionate medical care supported by the latest technology and sophisticated equipment. The goal expressed by the owner was to provide an atmosphere of comfort, privacy, and reassurance for women undergoing diagnosis and treatment.

The Women’s Cancer Facility incorporates multidisciplinary clinics for lung cancer and internal medicine; a comprehensive breast care clinic offering diagnostic and screening mammography, ultrasound and biopsy; a Gynecologic/Oncology clinic for ovarian and cervical cancer screening and treatment of gynecological cancers; and the Women’s Health Initiative offering patient education, literature and videos, internet access and information on research, clinical services, community outreach and support programs.
