Boone County Public Library prepres to open Southern Branch
The Boone County Public Library's new Southern Branch in Walton, KY is nearing completion, with a ribbon cutting scheduled for Sunday, September 29, at 1:00 pm. The replacement facility is strategically located in a more commercial development directly off Interstate 75 to maximize convenience and visibility. Omni Architects led a design process focused on creating a distinct identity that communicates the library's message to the community: that BCPL is a technology leader in Boone County and a place of experience, discovery, and fulfillment for all who enter. The building form, materials, and programming are the result of a deliberate and collaborative design process that included BCPL representatives and members of the community.
