Omni announces new Associates
Omni Architects is pleased to announce that Teddi Hibberd, AIA, and Mark Manczyk, AIA, have become Associates of the firm. Both are recognized for their contributions within the firm and their service to their clients, colleagues, and the community. The announcement of new Associates supports Omni Architects’ commitment to longevity, relevance, and excellence within the architectural profession.
Hibberd graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with a Master in Architecture and has been with Omni Architects since 2015. Her experience includes projects such as the University of Kentucky Chemistry-Physics Building Renovation, the BCTC Student Intake Services Building Renovation, the UK Gatton Student Center, and Kentucky State University’s Atwood Research Lab renovation. Hibberd’s civic participation includes her role as Board Chair at The Plantory and on the Board Advisory Committee for Get on Board. She is a graduate of Leadership Lexington (2013-2014), Leadership Central Kentucky (2014-2015), the Fayette Alliance Citizens Planning Academy(Class of 2015), and the United Way of the Bluegrass’ Get on Board Program.
Manczyk earned his Masters of Architecture from the University of Kentucky in 2015 and achieved his licensure in 2017. He joined Omni Architects in 2016 and brought with him the ability to generate detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and his advanced skills in creating visualization tools that help clients better understand the potential for their project. His ability to detect potential issues and coordinate solutions before they become problems has been a valuable asset to Omni’s project teams and to our clients. Manczyk’s is a recent graduate of the Leadership Lexington Class of 2019-2020, and has participated in industry/community initiatives including CANstruction, PARK(ing) Day, and he has been an AIA mentor in the UK AIAS Mentorship by Design program.
