Omni Architects announces new promotions

As Omni Architects celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, the firm is proud to recognize two valued members of its leadership team—Erin Ruhl, AIA, and Mark Manczyk, AIA—on their promotion to Senior Associate. Both Erin and Mark exemplify the technical excellence, creativity, and collaborative spirit that define Omni’s practice and culture.

Erin Ruhl, AIA, is a shareholder and a key member of Omni’s leadership team. Her passion for architecture and exceptional technical expertise have been instrumental in leading complex, high-performance buildings that support academic and workforce development across Kentucky. Erin has managed major initiatives for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, including projects that strengthen local economies and enhance learning environments. Known for her proactive approach and innovative problem-solving, she consistently balances design integrity with practical implementation to create spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
Beyond her project work, Erin is deeply committed to mentorship and education—guiding emerging professionals within the firm, teaching at the University of Kentucky College of Design, and serving on community boards such as Seedleaf, a nonprofit that promotes food equity and urban gardening.

Mark Manczyk, AIA, joined Omni Architects in 2016 and quickly distinguished himself as a talented designer and project manager. Earning his architectural license just two years after completing his master’s degree from the University of Kentucky, Mark has since demonstrated outstanding leadership and technical precision. His portfolio spans higher education, civic, and workplace projects, each reflecting Omni’s commitment to creating environments that foster connection, learning, and community growth. Recognized for his detail-oriented approach and collaborative leadership style, Mark continues to advance Omni’s mission of thoughtful, high-impact design.

These well-earned promotions reflect Erin and Mark’s outstanding contributions to Omni Architects and their continued influence as leaders within the firm and the profession. Their work exemplifies the values that have guided Omni for five decades—creativity, collaboration, and a deep commitment to serving clients and communities across the Commonwealth and beyond.
